Ben Affleck and Seraphina shop for Halloween costumes as Jennifer Lopez’s divorce continues

Ben Affleck got into the Halloween spirit when he shopped for a Halloween costume with his 15-year-old daughter Seraphina on Friday.

The couple was spotted in casual clothing outside a Spirit Halloween store in Los Angeles, but it’s unclear if they purchased anything from the popular seasonal store.

Page Six contacted Affleck’s rep for comment and did not immediately receive a response.

The 52-year-old “Good Will Hunting” star was seen spending time with his children, which also include 18-year-old Violet and 12-year-old Samuel, throughout the summer while he was going through a divorce from Jennifer Lopez did his own thing in New York.

However, the exes got back together several times in the last month, proving that their divorce was amicable.

For example, on September 14, Affleck and Lopez, 55, met Seraphina and Samuel and Lopez’s 16-year-old twins Emme and Max at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

In a surprising turn of events, an eyewitness exclusively shared that the former couple “held hands and kissed” during their time together.

Less than a week later, the “On the Floor” singer and Oscar winner attended her children’s back-to-school night, where they were reportedly “warm.”

Despite their seemingly positive relationship, the two were photographed arriving at celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser’s office in Los Angeles on Monday.

At the time, an insider confirmed to Page Six that the stars were “still moving forward with the divorce” and were “working out the financial details amicably.”

Regarding her PDA-filled lunch with her kids, the Hollywood source explained, “Divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it.”

“The children always got along and had a lot of fun together. It makes her happy to see the children happy together. Happy children are their priority.”

The “Hustlers” star filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20 – the anniversary of their second wedding at his luxurious Georgia estate.

The couple tied the knot for the first time when they eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022.

Lopez cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and stated that their official separation date was April 26.

The former couple did not sign a prenup before their wedding in July 2022, meaning they will have to sort through their marital assets and make a joint decision about separating assets and finances.

They are also currently trying to sell their spacious mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

The exes purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home in June 2023 for $60 million and listed it for sale at $68 million.

Although they reportedly accepted a $64 million offer, the alleged deal fell through.
