Call of Duty players have been eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Black Ops series and now it’s almost here.

Black Ops 6 is the 21st part of the Call of Duty series after Cold War and the seventh part of the Black Ops sub-series.

According to callofduty.com/blackops6, players will be embroiled in the Gulf War, with Black Ops 6 focusing on the “shadowy secret force that has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA.”

While the gameplay is similar to previous installments, new features include omnidirectional movements and the ability to adjust smart movement settings.

Yes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.

It will also be available to players with an Xbox Game Pass subscription on launch day.

While the Call of Duty developers aren’t giving players early access to Black Ops 6, popular gaming site GameRant has provided a breakdown of a popular workaround for those determined to play before everyone else.

With this loophole, players will be able to access the game on October 24th at 4 a.m. Arizona time. Each platform has its own specific steps to achieve this workaround. The full breakdown for each platform can be found at gamerant.com.

When will Black Ops 6 be released?

Players using Steam or Battle.net can start playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 24th at 9 p.m. Arizona time.

Players playing on PC will see a region-based rollout schedule. Those on the West Coast can also begin playing at 9 p.m. Arizona time on October 24th.

When can I pre-download Black Ops 6?

If you pre-ordered Black Ops 6 digitally, you will be able to pre-load the game beginning Monday, October 21st at 9 a.m. Arizona time, regardless of the platform you purchased it for.

Unfortunately, those still purchasing physical games will have to wait until release day on October 25th to start downloading their game.
