MONDAY, OCT. 21: The Regis Jesuit field hockey team celebrated its Senior Night with a 1-0 win over Palmer Ridge at Lou Kellogg Stadium. Addie von Steeg scored the only goal after an assist from Hailey Cornellwhile Izzie Golding saved the only two shots she saw.

SATURDAY, OCT. 19: The Regis Jesuit girls volleyball team finished a tournament hosted by Dakota Ridge atop the standings with a 5-0 record. Range view also took part in the tournament and finished 2-2. …The Rangeview Girls Flag Soccer Team finished the regular season 10-5 with a 32-0 win Vista PEAK preparation in a game at All-City Stadium. The Bison finished 3-11.

THURSDAY, OCT. 17: Behind it, eight kills a piece Melinda Allred And Amanni TisdellThe Vista PEAK Prep girls volleyball team defeated Hinkley 25-12, 25-17, 25-10. Ava Eltzroth dished out 27 assists and added five service aces for the Bison. …The Regis Jesuit boys soccer team won the Continental League championship with a 4-0 home win over Legend. Jack De Simone scored two goals and provided one assist Charles Sharp added a goal and two assists and Sebastian Campos also counted for the Raiders. …The Aurora Central boys soccer team scored in each half in a 2-1 Colorado League win over Adams City. …The Vista PEAK Prep boys soccer team suffered a 4-0 City League loss to Denver East. … Elyse Bailey scored three goals and Lyla Bailey had the other goal for them Smoky Hill field hockey team in a 4-0 win over Pine Creek. Riley Leeser made six saves for the shut out.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16: The Regis Jesuit Boys Cross Country Team placed fifth in the final standings at the Continental League championship meet hosted by Ponderosa HS Braeden Focht He topped the Raiders with his eighth-place finish in a time of 16 minutes, 42.04 seconds. The Regis Jesuit Girl were 10th with Zoe Small He crossed the finish line first in 40th place (22:16.39). …The duo of Kimi Bulto And Abdinasir Hassan took 11th and 13th place respectively and was in the lead Rangeview boys cross country team to fourth place at the City League Championship meet at City Park in Denver. Brandon Pearcy took sixth place Vista PEAK preparation with his 18th place in the individual result. Range view And Hinkley took seventh and eighth place Girl Race, with the Raiders’ top result Aiden Schumacher (20.) and Alaysha Ramos Vasquez (28th) set the pace for the Thunder. …The cross country gymnastics team posted a score of 177.250, finishing ahead of visitors Ponderosa (170.450) and Heritage (158.825) in a three-team home game. Ali Padgett led and joined the all-around with a score of 35.600 Audrey Cox (34.950) in third place. Cox and Maia Howell finished 1-2 on the uneven bars, while Padgett topped the balance beam and Ryan Walline scored a score of 9.350, topping the floor exercise.

TUESDAY, OCT. 15: Everett White had a goal and an assist while Jack De Simone And Charles Sharp also scored in the Regis Jesuit boys soccer team 3-0 Continental League win over Heritage. …The Cherokee Trail boys soccer team scored two goals in the second half to secure a 2-0 win over the Centennial League Eaglecrest. …The Vista PEAK Prep boys soccer team suffered its first loss of the season with a 5-0 loss at Northfield. …The Regis Jesuit boys’ tennis team posted a 7-0 win over Fossil Ridge in the semifinals of the Class 5A boys’ team state tournament.
