MUNCIE, IN – Muncie’s East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra (ECICO) invites the public to its annual fall semester concert, presented on Saturday evening, October 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Muncie Central High School Auditorium. Admission and parking are free for participants, 801 N Walnut St, Muncie IN.

First-year ECICO conductor Isaac Denniston, music and media teacher at Muncie Northside Middle School and conductor of the Anderson University Community Band, leads this family-friendly program of exciting contemporary pieces – a musical lineup that honors the spirit of honesty. Strength and goodness from the many heroic stories of legends, myths and history.

ECICO’s very special guest appearances at this concert include the outstanding choir students from both Muncie Middle Schools, who will be on stage with the orchestra; the Northside Middle School Titans Choir, Director: Isaac Denniston; And The Southside Middle School Panthers Choir, Director: Jaelyn Hence.

The nonprofit East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra (ECICO), comprised of local adult musicians and Ball State University students and conductors, has performed free, public concerts in Muncie for more than 40 years. Its mission is to bring the orchestral experience to local musicians and performance groups and to give new audiences the opportunity to experience and learn about free live performances of orchestral music.
