Samsung introduces generative wallpaper for AI TVs

Samsung Electronics Co. on Wednesday announced the launch of its Generative Wallpaper feature for the Neo QLED and 2024 QLED models based on Tizen OS.

This new feature uses AI to create custom 4K images that enhance the TV’s display and give users the ability to personalize their viewing experience.

Generative Wallpaper will launch in South Korea, North America and Europe this month, with a global launch planned for 2025.

With Generative Wallpaper, Samsung delivers high-quality images that integrate into the interior design and create an inviting and immersive atmosphere.

The feature will be available through Samsung’s Ambient Mode, which turns the TV into a canvas for curated images, including useful information like weather updates, news and time.

To access the feature, users can navigate to the Ambient Mode menu, select the button, and choose from themes.
