Southland graduate in Michael Keaton’s latest film – Austin Daily Herald

A film featuring a local in the cast has now been released.

Maggie Vlasaty, a Southland High School graduate, stars in the newly released film “Goodrich,” starring Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis.

Vlasaty plays the role of a saxophonist in the film, which stars Keaton’s Andy Goodrich as a man left alone with his two children after his wife goes to rehab.

It is the third film in which Vlasaty has appeared. Her two previous appearances include 2023’s Candy Cane Lane with Eddie Murphy and another 2023 film, Dave.

According to IMDB, Vlasaty has two more films in the pipeline – “The Toy Store,” which is in production, and “The Weight of Darkness,” which is currently in post-production.
