Time Out for Tech, the annual visit day that offers high school students a glimpse into learning and life at Arkansas Tech University, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the ATU campus in Russellville.

All high school students graduating in May 2025 and their parents/guardians are invited to participate. Registration is possible at www.atu.edu/toft.

Those who prefer to register on the day of the event can do so beginning at 9 a.m. at Tucker Coliseum, 1604 Coliseum Drive on the ATU campus in Russellville.

The opening session begins at 9:30 a.m. in Tucker Coliseum. Sessions and activities last until 3:00 p.m

“We encourage high school students to immerse themselves in our supportive and community-oriented campus,” said Dr. Valerie Breashears, ATU director of admissions and enrollment communications. “Not only will Time Out for Tech participants learn about life as an ATU student, they will also connect with future classmates and begin to build relationships that will help them succeed at Arkansas Tech.”

Time Out for Tech participants learn more about ATU admissions, student housing, meal plans, scholarships, financial aid and campus life. There will be an academic fair that will provide details about each student’s preferred major, campus and residence hall tours, and photo opportunities with Jerry the Bulldog, ATU campus ambassador.
