Honda is recalling over 720,000 vehicles due to the risk of fuel pump cracks and leaks

Honda is recalling around 720,800 vehicles of several models due to the risk that a part of the high-pressure fuel pump could be defective.

The recalled vehicles 2023-2024 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid, 2025 Honda Civic and Civic Hybrid, and 2023-2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid may have cracks in a component of their high-pressure fuel pumps, which could lead to fuel leaks, automaker In said a recall report dated October 14th filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

“If a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of fire, accident or injury increases,” the automaker said.
