The NBA season starts on Tuesday.

“Sportradar is committed to deepening our long-standing partnership with the NBA while helping betting operators and media companies capitalize on the league’s immense global popularity,” said Eric Conrad, Executive Vice President, Rights & Strategic Partnerships – US & Latin America at Sportradar a statement. “Sportradar’s proprietary technology, powered by the application of powerful AI to comprehensive data, continues to redefine the way fans interact with the NBA. We are excited about the future, driven by our constant innovation.”

Sportradar, through AI and its advanced proprietary technology, will launch a range of products for the NBA by accessing the full range of official NBA content, including skeleton tracking data. Sportradar will be able to leverage hundreds of thousands of data points from every game, enabling the development of products that redefine the standards of fan engagement and create new revenue streams for the NBA, its partners and Sportradar customers.

Products include:

  • Virtualized Live Match Tracker uses computer vision to convert real-time official NBA data into 3D visualizations delivered in a hyper-personalized stream with customizable viewing angles, resulting in an immersive experience that keeps fans engaged in a betting operator’s app while They are served opportunities for in-play betting.
  • 4Sight Streaming launched for tennis earlier this year and is now available for basketball. It generates animated overlays and actionable insights by processing a lot of deep data, creating a viewing experience that can predict the likely outcomes of a game.
  • NBA Advanced Visualizations are interactive graphics and animations that use real-time skeletal tracking data to create 3D animations, heatmaps and player performance metrics. The visualizations enhance game analysis and add an element to support media outlets’ storytelling about what’s happening on the field.
  • After launching NBA League Pass earlier this year, emBET allows bettors to actively monitor their bets. emBET is also available on a wider range of devices including internet-connected TVs and Android devices.
