DAUGHTRY release epic video for new single “The Dam”

grammy-nominated rockers DAUGHTER continue their music video dominance with a visual for their new single, “The Dam”now available on all platforms via Big Machine Rock.

Excerpt from their recently released debut Big machine E.P “Shock to the System (Part One)”the cinema video, directed by: Jensen Noen (Demi Lovato, REVERSE, BRING ME THE HORIZON), says the frontman Chris Daughtry fights for his life in an epic science fiction setting.

“I’m working on this video Jensen Noen was such an incredible experience. He is a true visionary and we have wanted to work together for some time. “It felt like the perfect opportunity because only he could capture the scope of my vision.” Daughter explained. “Three days in the desert was the most brutal shoot of my career, but I think it’s the best video I’ve ever made, so it was totally worth every minute!”

DAUGHTER‘S “Shock to the System (Part One)” offers the first tracks of a two-part project that continues to raise the curtain on frontman Chris Daughtrys private life. Six new songs, highlighted by increased production and powerful vocals, reveal the universal story of a life laid bare by grief and rebuilt by sheer determination. The journey through loss may be difficult, but on their new EP DAUGHTER provides a soundtrack that accompanies you every step of the way.

“This EP is, in many ways, a documentation of my catharsis – a behind-the-scenes look at the healing of my inner self, if you will,” frontman Chris Daughtry explained. “Every day in the studio, writing and recording these songs felt like therapy. It wasn’t part of an agenda or a conscious effort, it just happened in a very organic way. I hope anyone listening finds comfort in the fact that they are not alone in their struggles and finds the courage to say it out loud.
