As well as bringing back regulars such as Ben Whishaw and Hugh Bonneville, the film also welcomes Antonio Banderas, Carla Tous and Emily Mortimer to the cast – the latter of whom will take on the role of Sally Hawkins’ Mrs Brown.

Bonneville recently spoke about the recast Rich: “We’re not pretending it’s anything other than a direct swap. There hasn’t been a terrible divorce or anything like that. Emily just seemed like a perfect fit.”

Director Dougal Wilson added: “We were lucky to get Emily. She is radiant, warm-hearted and so smart; She is a writer herself and can therefore do great advertising. It’s a difficult role: she is the emotional core of the Browns and the most emotional person they connect with Paddington.

Paddington in Peru hits theaters on November 8th.
