Ozark County man arrested for sex crimes in 2023

An Ozark County man has been arrested for a sex crime that occurred more than a year ago. Robert Dillon Walker, 40, of Gainesville, was charged with first-degree sodomy.

According to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, the victim told the investigating officer that Walker pressured her to go to a bedroom. She was caring for a crying child when Walker allegedly pushed her onto the bed and sodomized her, despite her pleas not to.

The victim reported that in the days following the incident she required medical attention for injuries sustained in the attack.

After a court hearing, Walker was released from the Ozark County Jail on his own recognizance. His next court hearing is scheduled for October 29.
