Congratulations to several regional individual runners who qualified for the IHSAA boys and girls cross country regionals on Saturday in Shelbyville and Evansville. They include Alaina Bedel, Tori Gauck, Joe Hawkins, Chase Tekulve and Quinton Walker of Greensburg; Adam Dennis, Santiago Schutte and Carson Hartwell of Oldenburg Academy; Milan’s Hannah Cooney; Elizabeth McKittrick and Virginia Minch of South Ripley and Dorothy Robbins and Norah Amberger of North Decatur. Also qualifying were the boys teams from Batesville, East Central and Milan and the girls teams from East Central and Batesville. The top 15 players from non-promoting teams and the first five qualified teams from each section take part in the regional competition.

Indiana University will host ESPNs College game day on the Saturday before the 13th^Th ranked and 7-0 Hoosiers entertain Washington. It is the second time in program history that IU is hosting Matchday. Kickoff at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington is Saturday at 12 p.m.

There was a doubleheader on Monday Night Football. In the first game, the Baltimore Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41:31, and the Arizona Cardinals beat the Los Angeles Chargers 17:15.
