Tom Holland is in talks for Christopher Nolan’s new film.

The Spider-Man actor is expected to star alongside Matt Damon in the as-yet-untitled film if he signs on to the film.

Sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that the film will not be set in the present, but it is not yet known whether the film will be set in the past or the future.

Nolan wrote the script for the project and plot details have been kept secret until now.

The filmmaker will also direct the film, which will be distributed by Universal and will be released in theaters on July 17, 2026.

Nolan will also produce the film alongside his wife Emma Thomas.

Earlier this month, Damon was said to be in talks about starring in the as-yet-untitled film.

It would be the third time Nolan and Damon have worked together on the big screen.

In addition to last year’s “Oppenheimer,” the 54-year-old actor also appeared in 2014’s “Interstellar.”

That would mean he will star alongside Christian Bale and Cillian Murphy as actors, who have worked with Nolan at least three times.

Nolan has previously stated that he had to constantly evolve outside of cinema, which is partly the reason why he didn’t implement any of the 12 to 13 film ideas that came to him in his younger years.

In an interview with Empire magazine, he said: “As a young man, I had a list of, no matter how many I had drawn up, 12 or 13 films… I had a lot of ideas and a lot of very specific things about what I wanted to do, and Looking back, I didn’t change any of it.

“In the film business, when you plan too far in advance, you don’t take into account the changing culture beneath your feet… (Cinema) evolves. And part of your job as a filmmaker is to be open to being part of this development.”
