Random: Movie star James McAvoy says his favorite game is Secret Of Mana

Scottish film star James McAvoy, probably best known for his role as Charles’s favorite.

When McAvoy appeared on an episode of “Hot Ones” Versus with Mackenzie Davis, he named Square’s legendary 1993-94 Super Nintendo RPG Secret of Mana as his favorite game of all time. He called it a “cool” but “niche” game, and unfortunately his co-star couldn’t guess what it was – instead eponymous titles like Wolfenstein 3D, Donkey Kong Country, Mortal Kombat and Zelda.

This exchange was eventually shared on the official Mana series social media account:

If you’ve never had the chance to experience this game, it’s definitely worth a look. Although it’s not available on Switch Online’s Super Nintendo service, you can still access it on the Switch through the Collection of Mana series, which also includes a few other games.
