Pokémon Rodeo Game Freak Leaksalso known as Codename Synapse Leak or Pokemon Codename Rodeorefers to a notable new leak following Game Freak Pokémon Gigaleak 2024, in which an alleged online co-op battle Pokémon game is being developed under the codenames “Codename Rodeo” and “Codename Synapse”. The new leak occurred in mid-October 2024, a few days after the first incident, and spawned theories and memes related to the speculated new game.

On October 21, 2024, the alleged multiplayer game was reported a few days ago in the first leaked documents under the codename Synapse, which involves “ridable Pokémon” while throwing Poké Balls at other Pokémon to attack them. The tweet (see below) also revealed a bunch of other data about the game, garnering over 1.9 million views and 42,000 likes in just a few hours.


@CentroLeaks also shared leaked gameplay showing one of the main objectives of Pokémon Rodeo “consists of defeating and riding rampaging Pokémon.” The video (shown below) shows a female character attempting to ride the dragon Pokémon Garchomp, which received more than 313,000 views and 4,600 likes in just a few hours.

Online reactions

Content related to the canceled MMO game Pokémon quickly spread online, sparking debates, jokes and memes related to the leaks. For example, on October 21, 2024, X user @Light_88_ posted alleged concept art related to Pokémon Rodeo (see below), which received around 15,000 views and 506 likes in just a few hours.


On the same day, YouTuber @BLAINES posted a video commenting on this Pokémon Rodeo Leak that garnered more than 18,000 views and 1,000 likes in just a few hours.

TikTokers also posted content related to the leaks, as user @imartuba read parts of the @CentroLeaks thread with leaked information about it Pokémon Rodeo. The video (see below) garnered around 4,000 views and 403 likes in just a few hours.
