Alexa Landestoy announces that she is expecting her first child

Host of Monumental Sports Network and all-around super media woman, Alexa Landestoyannounced some big news on Monday.

Alexa and her husband Michael Landestoy are expecting their first child.

“We kept a little secret!!!🤭,” Alexa wrote on Instagram. “We’ve never been so excited and blessed to announce our biggest adventure yet – Baby Landestoy is joining our team in 2025!!!🥹 We can’t wait to welcome our new little MVP!!!🧸🍼”

“So happy for this incredible couple,” Alan May, her partner on the Capitals pregame and postgame shows, said on his Instagram Story.

Alexa, originally from Valencia, California, first moved to DC in 2019 from Texas, where she previously worked as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports Southwest. Her first role in DC was as co-host of “DC Sports Live,” a multi-platform sports talk and entertainment program for NBC Sports Washington.

She later began her current role at the rebranded Monumental Sports Network in 2021 as host of the Washington Capitals’ pregame and postgame shows. She has since expanded her presence to host the Capitals Red Line and other special events for the Capitals. When time permits, Alexa also contributes to coverage of the NHL and NHL Network.
