Powerball winning numbers, live results for Monday’s $456 million drawing

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $456 million, with a cash option of $219.9 million.

The winning numbers were: 1, 25, 57, 62 and 64. The Powerball drawn was 15 with a Power Play of 2X.

No one in the entire county hit the $437 million jackpot on Saturday. Tickets for the five-number second prize, but not the Powerball, were sold in California (worth $243,664) and Pennsylvania (worth $1 million).

California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed secondary prices offered in other participating states.

In New Jersey, three tickets worth $50,000 each were sold at liquor stores for Saturday’s drawing.

Each third prize ticket had four correct numbers plus the Powerball.

The $50,000 Powerball tickets were sold at:

• Super Discount Liquors on Rahway Avenue in Elizabeth, Union County
• B2 Liquors on Summer Avenue in Newark, Essex County
• Rite Liquors on County Line Road in Lakewood, Ocean County

Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers were: 7, 16, 19, 45 And 64. The Powerball was drawn 25 with a power play from 3X.

Additionally, no one has won the $10 million secondary Double Play jackpot. These winning numbers were: 19, 39, 53, 57 And 68. The Double Play number drawn was 16.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who purchases a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and at least 1 Million $ to win, while the odds of winning a third prize are 913,129 to 1 or at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is $205 million with a cash option of $97.5 million.
