Keene police arrest three people in a drug-related raid

KEENE – On the night of Oct. 17 and early morning of Oct. 18, Keene police, with the assistance of New Hampshire State Police, executed a search warrant at a residence at 193 Island St as part of an ongoing criminal probe.

The operation led to the arrest of three people.

Karen Miner, 25, was taken into custody at the request of the Supreme Court.

Andrea Martin, 41, was arrested on a warrant for simple assault and subsequently released on bail.

Martin is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 25 in 8th District Court in Keene.

Christian Torruellas, 31, faces three counts of selling a controlled drug.

After Torruellas was arraigned Oct. 18 in 8th District Court in Keene, he was ordered placed in preventive detention at the Cheshire County Correctional Facility.

Authorities have indicated that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.

Keene police have not released further details about the nature of the investigation or the substances involved.
