Apple releases macOS Sequoia 15.1 RC 1 with Apple Intelligence [Download]

Apple has released the first release candidate of macOS Sequoia 15.1 to developers for testing. The build number is 24B82. This follows the release of macOS 15.0 last month.

The macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta is an early preview of an update to macOS Sequoia that will be available later this fall. This beta includes an initial set of features supported by Apple Intelligence.

To try out the Apple Intelligence beta, join the waitlist in Settings and you’ll be notified when it’s ready for your device. Both the device language and Siri language must be set to US English and the device region must be set to USA.

Apple Intelligence is available on Macs with M1 and later. Apple Intelligence is currently not available in China.

Please backup your Mac before installing the beta.

Developers with an Apple Silicon Mac can download the macOS 15.1 recovery image from the link below. Or, for devices running macOS 13.4 Ventura or later, go to System Preferences > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and select macOS Sequoia 15.1 Developer Beta to install this software.
