X launches its real-time search tool Radar for Premium+ subscribers

As competition increases from newcomers like Bluesky and Threads,

Formerly known as Insights, the tool was originally targeted at verified organizations (companies) and allowed marketers to track topics and trends in the app. With a subscription, marketers could conduct keyword analysis, visualize trending activity, and filter conversations in real-time. In addition to tracking call volume over time, Radar can also track call speed. Its features help marketers better understand trends on X and could help them plan the best time to post to reach the desired audience.

While Insights could potentially have replaced the need for a third-party trend tracking tool, its price — $1,000 per month, or $833.33 per month if billed annually — put it out of reach for smaller businesses.

Although it was officially announced on Monday, some had already spotted Radar’s arrival earlier this month, touting it as a more powerful search tool.

Previous adopters of the new Radar search feature have commented that the search algorithm has been significantly improved, but at least one user pointed out remaining issues, such as: B. the inability to search further back than three days.
