DA wishes Gauteng matriculants all the best as they begin their final examinations

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng wishes all Grade 12 students the best of luck as final exams begin today.

The exams will be completed at the end of November 2024. The DA encourages parents and communities to provide essential support to help learners prepare effectively.

We also urge learners to focus on their studies, maintain discipline, be patient and resist the temptation to cheat. The DA encourages any learner who is feeling overwhelmed or struggling during this time to reach out to family and friends for support. Your mental health is just as important as your academic success. Parents are also encouraged to support their children during this extremely stressful time.

The Gauteng Department of Education must ensure that all examination centers are well prepared and secure and that the necessary measures are taken to prevent disruption or loss of examination materials.

The DA will actively monitor the examination process through proctor inspections at various examination centers.
