The first free PlayStation Plus games for November were accidentally confirmed early – PlayStation

November is fast approaching and a new month means the arrival of brand new games on the PlayStation Plus subscription service.

With October’s selection of PlayStation Plus games somewhat disappointing given fans wanting scarier titles, it looks like November will make up for it by bringing back a classic PlayStation release.

That’s right, it looks like Sony is re-releasing the PlayStation 2-era God of War games as part of its classic selection.

Given its recent success in 2018, this is perhaps no surprise God of war and its sequel, God of war Ragnarök which took the series to ancient Scandinavia rather than ancient Greece.

However, so far the original God of war And God of War 2 have remained on early PlayStation consoles and will therefore be available to PlayStation 5 users for the first time.

You may be wondering why we know this God of war will be added to PlayStation Plus.

This comes courtesy of a user on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, who noticed that a Greek-era Kratos icon has now been added to the PlayStation Plus tab.

“The PlayStation Plus tab on PS5 has recently been updated to provide easier navigation for the games offered on Plus,” they explained.

“One of the changes was to divide the classic emulated games into different pages by system and add icon graphics for each page.

There is a Greek-era Kratos icon in the PS2 section, but no God of War games are featured in this category.”

They also point out that the same thing happened Dino Crisis’ New addition to PlayStation Plus.

A month earlier, an icon of Regina was added.

So if this is true, those with PlayStation Plus Premium subscriptions could be able to enjoy the original God of War games as early as next month.
