“Wolves can use a lot of heart”

Former Premier League midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker hopes Wolves will show the same “desire” in the future that they showed against Manchester City.

Wolves remain bottom of the table with one point from eight games but their performance against the champions did not reflect their positioning in the league.

“It was a great performance from Wolves but now they have to go into the next few games with the same commitment and enthusiasm that they had against City,” Reo-Coker said on BBC Radio 5’s Live Football Daily podcast.

Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic added: “A few wins in the last 20 games is starting to become a mental thing.”

“If you think about when you’re going to win, it puts additional pressure on the team. But they can draw a lot of courage from this performance.”
