Iran criticizes ongoing Israeli crimes in Gaza and warns of dire, unpredictable consequences

Iran has strongly condemned the continuation of Israeli crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip and blamed the international community for its inaction against the regime’s ongoing atrocities.

In a statement on Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei warned of the “terrible and unpredictable” consequences of the Israeli regime’s ongoing crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people.

It is shameful that Israel commits all sorts of crimes and brutal actions against the Palestinian people on a daily basis, he said.

The Iranian spokesman added that the Tel Aviv regime’s criminal actions continue due to the silence and lack of accountability from the international community and human rights organizations, as well as the impunity of the rogue regime and the continued US support for it.

“The apartheid regime’s dangerous plan”

He stressed that the recent massacre of dozens of innocent Palestinians in the city of Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip and the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by extremist Israeli settlers represents an “organized and dangerous plan by the Zionist apartheid regime to eliminate the identity of the Palestinian nation.” and reveal the holy places of the land.”
