Bigg Boss Tamil star Oviya Helen shares details about the alleged culprit behind the distribution of her doctored videos

Bigg Boss Tamil celebrity Oviya had earlier made headlines after her alleged intimate video went viral on social media platforms. However, the actress sought legal advice and filed a complaint against the person responsible for posting her “morphed” clips online. According to a report by English Jagran, Oviya’s manager revealed that the video was shared with the intention of damaging her goodwill.

The alleged accused wanted to defame the actress and reportedly uploaded the video to social media platforms. According to the report, Oviya lodged a complaint at Thrissur police station and provided details about the culprit.

She revealed that her former boyfriend Thariq leaked the “fake” video to take revenge. The actress narrated how she had to distance herself from the accused because of his behavior.

Oviya claimed that Thariq released the doctored video in response to her decision. She also claimed that he had other altered videos and images of women he was associated with, raising concerns about his unacceptable behavior.

Meanwhile, Oviya’s manager had earlier spoken to News 18 and clarified that the leaked video was not about the actress. “It is an altered video made by someone who wanted to tarnish the name of Oviya. She has submitted the matter to the police commissioner and will take necessary legal action against the culprit,” her manager said.

Although Oviya is yet to comment on the ongoing controversy, she once took to her Instagram account to share a selfie with her fingers crossed. However, after she posted the photo, one of the social media users asked her to upload the full video, to which the actress commented, “Next time bro.”

Oviya rose to fame after appearing in the Tamil film Kalavani. The film was directed by Sarkunam. She also shared screen space with actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in Kangaroo. Her best works include Vengai, Sevanu and others.
