Chasing ambulances

QB Deshaun Watson – Appears to have possibly suffered a torn Achilles tendon and is expected to miss the remainder of the season unless there is some surprising news. Watson remained unaffected And His calf had this visible contraction That means typical of an Achilles tendon rupture. Watson played largely because his overpaid contract forced him onto the field, but he already wasn’t a “fan favorite.”

QB Jayden Daniels – Went to the locker room and returned with no padding on what initially appeared to be ribs. But he smiled And The Commanders were already ahead 34-0. Early speculation is that Daniels will be fine against the Bears this week. Marcus Mariota provided effective relief, but also faced the visiting Panthers team.

QB Tyler Huntley – He injured his shoulder and did not return to the game. Tim Boyle took his place but Tua Tagovailoa is set to return for Week 8, so Huntley’s status may not matter.

QB Aidan O’ConnellThought to have broken the thumb of his throwing hand when he hits a helmet after a throw. Gardner Minshew left the game and will likely start again. A broken thumb on a throwing hand is definitely a multi-week edition and possibly the end of the season. Since the season is already over badthese are the Raiders unlikely act to acquire any remarkable quarterback.

WR Demario Douglas – The Patriots’ No. 1 wideout caught the first two passes and Then never again, as it was reported after kick-off that he was ill. He then returned for one play in the second half, which resulted in all prop bets placed on him being voided. This didn’t go unnoticed by players, who questioned his lack of coverage Insert in the second half for a single play that stuck his bets instead of canceling them.

WR DK Metcalf – Struck his knee catching a pass and left the game. HC Mike MacDonald said the injury was not as serious as the first time feared and that “it doesn’t look so bad.” His status for this weekend’s Bills matchup will be determined later in the week, but it doesn’t appear to be an issue.

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster – The Chiefs wideout was already questionable about playing last week due to a hamstring injury, but was active. He was later taken out of the game when the hamstring problem flared up again.

Free agents, flops and other personalities

QB Jameis Winston – Should be a popular asset in super-flex leagues where every quarterback has value. Deshaun Watson appears to be out for a year with a serious knee injury, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson has injured his finger. Winston appears to be the last man standing since the Browns released the capable Joe Flacco so that There would be no calls for him while Watson struggled. The Browns Only lost for the fifth time in a row, so there’s no point trading up for an upgrade.

WR Ricky Pearsall – It’s likely the 49ers will miss Brandon Aiyuk for a while, if not the entire season, and Deebo Samuel was suddenly ill and sidelined for the loss to the Chiefs, although he was active. Pearsall made his debut yesterday, catching three passes for 21 yards against the Chiefs’ top-ranked secondary. Jauan Jennings was sidelined with a hip injury and never practiced last week. Pearsall will have to help when the Cowboys visit this week.

RB Kendre Miller – He stumbled through his rookie season mostly injured And Then he injured his hamstring this summer. Miller finally debuted in his week against the Broncos and ran for 36 yards on six carries while Alvin Kamara’s only gain was ten yards on seven carries. The bulk of Miller’s business came later in the bust, but he is a memorable name for Kamara owners and would see more business if Kamara’s wish for a trade comes true. Jamaal Williams has been completely ineffective this season.

RB tank Bigsby – In the Matcup, he had his career best with the Patriots in London, rushing for 118 yards and two scores on 26 carries. He has no role as insolvency administrator, which is more Travis Etienne’s job anyway. But Bigsby and Etienne have posted two 100-yard performances in the last two weeks faded gone before time is lost with a thigh injury.

QB Mason Rudolph -The Titans started Rudolph with Will Levis dealing with a shoulder injury, although there were rumors that Rudolph would get a chance anyway. He threw for 215 yards and a score, but no receiver went past 50 yards. But this was better than all but one of Levi’s games And It came on the road to Buffalo and their top-10 pass defense. Rudolph has to throw this week and should see at least one little more Success with the Lions.

WR Amari Cooper – His uniform still had wrinkles, but the ex-Brown had four on debut very encouraging catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Keon Coleman (4-125) also had a career high, thanks partially that the opposing defense now has more to fear.

WR Cedric Tillman – First game without Amari Cooper And The Browns rotated through three quarterbacks. But the top receiver was Cedric Tillman (8-81), while Jerry Jeudy (1-18) got the strongest coverage. Tillman shot 12 targets And still He only had five others To the season before this week.

QB Tua Tagovailoa – He is expected to return when the Dolphins host the Cardinals. The Dolphins’ offense has collapsed without him, and Tyreek Hill just caught a pass for eight yards on his two targets in the game. Jaylen Waddle was better with a catch for 11 yards. Hard to remind me that it was Tagovailoa’s last day full In the game, Hill and Waddle rushed for 100 yards.

QB Daniel Jones – Him was ultimately benched in the third quarter of the 28-3 loss to the Eagles. He only managed 99 passing yards, but Drew Lock was even worse, going 3 of 6 for six yards. Malik Nabers returned from his concussion to lead the team with just four catches for 41 yards. HC Brian Daboll has already confirmed that Jones will be the starter again this week in Pittsburgh, but they already have the leash ready.

WR Tre Tucker – He managed just three catches for 36 yards, but that was second only to Brock Bowers in the loss to the Rams. Davante Adams is officially gone And Tucker’s eight targets were the second-most for the Raiders.

TE Ja’Tavion Sanders – The Panthers rookie led the team with six catches for 61 yards on six targets. No other Panther receiver had more than two catches or 17 yards.

WR Davante Adams – His debut started well with three catches for 30 yards in the first half, but then had no receptions in the second half. Aaron Rodgers threw two interceptions, adding to his four in the previous two games. He never threw six interceptions in a career year, let alone in three games. What if the problem is…you know…when to throw the pass?

QB Russell Wilson – He replaced Jistin Fields, who was 4-2 but didn’t throw well downfield. Competing against an admittedly injury-depleted secondary, Wilson threw for 264 yards and two scores. He also gave George Pickens five catches for 111 yards and his first touchdown of the season. His 264 passing yards and two passing scores were accompanied by a rushing score that made him the highest scoring fantasy quarterback of the weekend.

Saquon Barkley (PHI) – Perhaps one of the biggest front office misjudgments of all time was when the Giants told Barkley he could get a deal. He did it. The Eagles welcomed him and then turned him into a workhorse AND had a great offensive line. Barkley topped his old team with 17 carries for 176 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards with a score. It was everything you want when faced with a former employer.
