The defense team of an OnlyFans model accused of murdering her boyfriend presented a video of knives being thrown at a pig carcass at a bail hearing on Friday to bolster their case.

OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney is charged with second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend Christian Obumseli.

Clenney has claimed that she acted in self-defense when she killed Obumseli, who was stabbed to death in the apartment they shared in Miami in August 2022.

The adult content creator claimed she threw a knife at Obumseli but never intended to kill him.

To prove that Clenney could have thrown the knife unintentionally and fatally injured Obumseli, the OnlyFans model’s defense showed a video of an experienced knife thrower hurling knives at pig carcasses – which they said was comparable to human flesh.

Prosecutors quickly pointed out the flaws in the presentation.

In the video, the knives are thrown from a distance of two meters. According to her recollection, Clenney threw her knife three meters away from Obumseli. The knife thrower was also much taller and taller than Clenney, so he threw the knives with different force and precision than she probably could have, prosecutors argued, according to CBS News.

Her defense believes the video provides the closest possible insight into what may have happened on the day of Obumseli’s death.

“It shows the court that our client is indeed credible, that her self-defense is credible and that the actions she took that night were necessary to save her own life,” attorney Frank Prieto said, according to the station.

Clenney’s lawyers brought in Dr. John Marraccini, a board-certified pathologist, as an expert witness to explain the similarities between the anatomy of pigs and humans. He explained in court that pig skin and tissue function similarly to a human’s.

Marraccini also appeared in the video examining the pigs’ wounds, which he said were similar to those inflicted on Obumseli.

However, the team representing the victim’s family found that the video demonstration lacked actual evidence.

“This defies common sense. “It’s impossible for you to throw a knife, the knife lands so low in a downward position,” said attorney Larry Handfield.

The video presentation relied heavily on body camera footage from the day of the murder, which the defense used to plan the knife throwing. Because this footage has not yet been entered into evidence, the judge postponed the bail decision until she could review it.
