Iowa State received its first commitment for the 2026 recruiting class at offensive lineman on Sunday Mason Bandhauer.

The 6-foot-2, 260-pound junior is the son of a former Iowa State player Todd Bandhauer announced his involvement via social media.

Bandhauer chose the Cyclones over offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Boston College, Oregon State, Washington State, Wyoming and Colorado State.

The Fort Collins, Colorado junior is ranked as the No. 3 player in the state in his class and is also the No. 35 offensive tackle in the current 247 Sports recruiting rankings.
