1 dead, 1 injured, 1 arrested after shooting in south Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida. – A man died and another man was injured after a fight turned into a shooting in southern Miami-Dade County Sunday afternoon.

The crime scene was in a mixed agricultural area in the Princeton district of Miami-Dade with greenhouses and nurseries. Officers responded to the area of ​​Southwest 240 Street and Naranja Road, according to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel also responded, declaring one man dead and transporting the injured man to a nearby hospital. Rodriguez said he was in critical condition. Investigators arrested another man.

“The three were involved in an argument that escalated when a firearm was produced and shots were fired,” Rodriguez wrote in an email.
