The investigation into the murder of former PPP Nazim Shahid Gul in the downtown area of ​​Lahori Gate, Peshawar has taken a new turn.

According to the investigative team, the killer never left the alley. There is CCTV footage showing no evidence of the killer leaving the road.

The investigation team claims that 90% of the work on the case has been completed and they are close to arresting the main suspect.

Last week, Shahid Gul was shot dead outside his house by an unknown assailant in the jurisdiction of Gulbahar Police Station. The murderer disappeared from the scene immediately after the attack. The victim’s guest room was also located in the area where the incident occurred.

Details reveal that the unknown assailant shot dead 42-year-old Shahid Gul outside his house near Lahori Gate in Mohalla Islamabad on Sunday evening. The attacker who was already there shot him in the head and fled under the cover of darkness.

Police collected CCTV footage from the area and opened a case based on a complaint from the victim’s father. According to the investigative team, the suspect will be arrested soon.
