Is Tre Tucker playing today? Raiders wide receiver has a quiet first half

The Las Vegas Raiders will be without top receiver Jakobi Meyers on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury. With Meyers out, second-year receiver Tre Tucker will serve as the WR1 and primary pass catcher along with rookie tight end Brock Bowers.

Tucker had some productive games this season, but did not play a role in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers as he only scored two times and had no receptions.

Heading into Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams, Tucker has a fantastic opportunity to play a bounce-back game and show off his explosive style of play, but he did the opposite in the first half.

Tucker had just one catch in the first half against the Rams, catching a 15-yard strike late in the second quarter from Gardner Minshew, who replaced the injured Aidan O’Connell in the first quarter. Although Tucker managed to get on the field before the end of the first half, the 23-year-old’s performance in recent weeks has been disappointing.

In the final six quarters of play, Tucker had five goals and just one catch. Las Vegas’ incompetent quarterback play has taken a toll on the 2023 third-round pick’s numbers.
