Meteorologists are predicting rising temperatures in Riverside County this week.

Sunday’s high reached 85 in downtown Riverside and 83 in the Temecula Valley and Coachella Valley areas, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures were expected to rise slightly at the start of the week. Downtown Riverside was expected to reach 91 on Wednesday, while the Temecula Valley was expected to reach 89 and the Coachella Valley was expected to reach 97.
