15 Shreveport athletes in the Times’ Week 7 Top Athlete Football Poll

After an outstanding week of football action, 15 athletes have been selected for the 2024 Shreveport Times Football Player of the Week 7.

Athlete supporters have until Thursday evening to vote for their favorite at shreveporttimes.com. The winner will receive a backpack and meal ticket courtesy of sponsors Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission and Cosse and Silmon Orthodontics and will be announced Friday.

Previously, Bossier’s Mateo Guererro was named Preseason Fan’s Choice Football Player of the Year this season and the Bearkats’ Kendrien Sims was the Week 1 poll winner, while BTW’s Aaron Dillard won Week 2.

THE BEST OF THE BEST: Top soccer players in the Shreveport-Bossier City area for the week of October 17-18

They were selected based on their performance in the previous week or because their names were submitted by their coach.
