ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy football team (6-0) moved up one spot to No. 24 in the standings after a 51-17 win over Charlotte on Saturday Associated Press poll and debuted at No. 24 in the AFCA Coaches poll.

The Midshipmen will host #12/#11 Notre Dame (5-1) on Saturday at MetLife Stadium (82,500) in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Saturday’s game will be televised by ABC and streamed on ESPN+ with Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy and Molly McGrath on the phone.

Navy will be seeking its first 7-0 start to a season since 1978 and just its fifth in program history. Notre Dame leads the all-time series at 82-13-1 and has won six straight against the Mids. Navy last beat Notre Dame 28-27 in Jacksonville in 2016.

Navy is one of just 10 remaining undefeated teams in the FBS and one of only three teams to win every game by double digits.
