Vikings vs. Lions Week 7 latest injury report

EAGAN, Minn. – The Minnesota Vikings (5-0) ruled out linebacker Blake Cashman (toe) and cornerback Akayleb Evans (hip) on Friday before hosting the Detroit Lions (4-1) in Week 7 on Sunday.

Running back Aaron Jones Sr. (hamstring), outside linebacker Pat Jones II (shoulder) and defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (shoulder) were listed as questionable.

Tight end TJ Hockenson (knee) and guard Dalton Risner (back) were also listed as questionable.

Hockenson (on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform List) and Risner (on Injured Reserve – Designated for Return) are within their 21-day evaluation window. They can be added to the 53-man roster at any time, but Minnesota would have to take appropriate steps to clear spots.

Safety Theo Jackson (hand) and tight end Josh Oliver (wrist) were not assigned and are expected to be available.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore (rest) and safety Harrison Smith (rest) were placed on the injury report Friday, but both are expected to play.
