Kevin Nash remembers avoiding arrest in the UK with Scott Hall

Kevin Nash was willing to beat a police officer in the UK to avoid arrest with Scott Hall.

Kevin Nash told a story about a trip to Britain in the 1990s when he and Scott Hall wanted to smile hash in an alley in London, England.

On Kliq This, Nash explained that they bought a pipe to try and conceal the illegal substance before a police officer came by.

“We picked up some hashish, went to a little tobacco shop and got a pipe with a screen in it so it at least kind of looked like we were smoking Borkum Riff.” [pipe tobacco].

“Scott burns it and he sets it, we just shove it in the tube now, about that time a bobby [British policeman] came around the corner. He asks, ‘What are you doing? Are you fucking pissing?’”

Hall had pretended to zip up his pants to deceive the officer, but he still walked straight toward him. When that happened, Nash said he prepared to punch the officer to avoid arrest.

“Scott, when he saw him, he turned around and pretended to zip up his pants. Then the police officer comes by and as he passes he comes straight towards Scott.

“He walks past me, and this is maybe 1994, this was before the world had cameras everywhere, and I’m thinking, ‘If he grabs Scott, I’m going to have to shoot that motherfucker.’ “I’m looking straight at his C1, 2, 3, I’m going to drill into his cervix.”

Nash’s co-host Sean Oliver interjected and said that the two would not tolerate attacking police officers before Nash continued.

“But the guy just looked at us and said, ‘Damn!'” Nash recalled. “We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Kensington, and we just went to the park and sat, smoked out there and came back in.”
