Haason Reddick’s holdout finally ends

The New York Jets have reportedly reached an agreement with the linebacker Haason Reddick to an adjusted contract, confirmed sources with knowledge of the situation ESPN‘S Adam Schefter Sunday morning (October 20th).

Reddick, 30, was acquired from the Jets in an offseason trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in April but requested a trade in August because he was unhappy with his contract situation. The former Pro Bowl linebacker recently hired a super agent Drew Rosenhaus before the reported agreement.

“Holdout over: Standout edge rusher Haason Reddick and the Jets agreed to an adjusted contract. Reddick will report to the team Monday morning. “We will continue to work toward a long-term contract extension with the Jets,” Reddick’s agent said. Drew Rosenhauswho negotiated the adjusted contract Jason Rosenhaus And Ryan MathaSchefter wrote on his X account.

The Eagles traded Reddick before the April 1 deadline in which his $1 million roster bonus was due. ESPN‘S Jeremy Fowler reported at the time of trading. Reddick started in all of the Eagles’ regular season and postseason games over the past two seasons and recorded 38 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks and 23 QB hits while making his second straight Pro Bowl in 2019 was elected in 2023.
