Team notes
•TCU and Utah met for the first time since 2010, when both schools were in the Mountain West and TCU won 47-7 in Salt Lake City. The Horned Frogs are on a three-game winning streak in the series.


•TCU turned in its best defensive performance of the season against an FBS opponent, holding Utah to 267 yards and a 2-of-15 mark on third-down conversions.


•The Horned Frogs’ four sacks tied their best of the season in a 34-27 win at Stanford.


•A Shad Banks Jr. The punt block gave TCU its fourth blocked kick of the season, securing the national lead.


•TCU led 10-0 at halftime and is 18-2 under head coaches Sonny Dykes if he is ahead at the break.


•The Horned Frogs improved to 20-1 under Dykes while leading after three quarters.


•TCU had 30:55 time of possession and leads Dykes 12-2 in that category.


•TCU is 2-0 this season in games beginning at 9:30 p.m. CDT.


•Dykes is 2-1 against Utah as a head coach. The first two games came while he was at Cal.


•TCU scored in its 401st consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida with 455 games (since 1988). The Horned Frogs have not been defeated since November 16, 1991 at Texas (32-0).


•TCU wore a white helmet, white jersey and white pants.

Savion Williams led TCU in rushing and receiving and rushed for a career-high 72 yards on seven carries while adding five receptions for 27 yards.


Josh Hoover The 1-yard touchdown run was his third of the season and fifth of his career.


JP Richardson had three receptions for 53 yards, giving him at least one catch in 34 consecutive games, tied for the seventh-longest streak in the country.


•After having to sit out the first five games due to injury, Battle of Trent had his first eight rushing attempts of the season for 45 yards and added two receptions for 19 yards.

Eric McAlister He totaled a team-high 57 yards on two receptions.


Cam Cook Set a career high with four receptions for 22 yards.

•Devan Deal had two sacks with five tackles.


•One sack over Marcel Brooks gave him a grade of 2.5 for the season and is therefore on par Devean deal, Cooper McDonald And Namdi Obiazor for the team management.


•LaMareon James and Namdi Obiazor He tied for the TCU lead in tackles with six.


Kaleb Elarms-Orr recorded his first sack as a Horned Frog and the second of his career.
