More sunshine today, the warming trend continues

RICHMOND, Va. – It’s another clear and cool morning with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. There will be some fog in extreme southeastern Virginia.

Today it will be sunny again and a few degrees warmer. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s, with around 60s near the coast.

Lows will fall back into the 30s and 40s tonight.

We will have lots of sunshine Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80s.

A cold front will pass by on Wednesday night. Overnight lows will be mild, in the low to mid 50s.

Thursday will be windy and cooler with highs in the mid 60s northwest to lower 70s southeast.

Lows Thursday evening will be in the 30s and 40s.

By next Sunday, high temperatures will climb into the 70s.

Tropics: Nadine is on the other side of the Yucatan Peninsula and will dissipate.

Hurricane Oscar is near eastern Cuba and will make landfall in Cuba today. It was expected to weaken to a tropical storm. It will then turn northeast and move through the southern Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands by midweek. After that, further weakening is expected.
