Yankees fans are loudly making their free agency pitch to Juan Soto

Juan Soto did his part to send the Yankees to the World Series.

And Yankees fans did their part to convince him to stay in New York beyond this season.

After the Bronx Bombers slugger hit a three-run home run that proved to be the series-clinching win in ALCS Game 5 on Saturday night, Yankees die-hards at Cleveland’s Progressive Field made it clear what they thought of Soto.

Amid all the celebration on the field — with new Yankees hats, shirts and smiles — supporters in the crowd could be heard loudly chanting “Re-sign Soto!”

The Yankees acquired Soto in a blockbuster trade this offseason, with the Padres knowing full well he would be a free agent after the 2024 season.

In August, the Post’s Jon Heyman surveyed thirteen experts and, based on the average of their responses, predicted Soto would receive a $520.09 million contract.

Heyman reported on October 10 that the Mets, Giants and Blue Jays will likely be the Yankees’ biggest competitors.

But with Soto sending the Yankees to the World Series for the first time in 15 years, it would be hard to imagine him anywhere but the Bronx.

Soto will now play in his second World Series, which he won with the Nationals in 2019.
