Blue Miburo opening and ending videos revealed

The creditless opening and ending videos for Blue Miburo were released the Saturday after the series premiere. SPYAIR performs the series’ opening theme “Ao” while THE JET BOY BANGERZ performs the ending theme “UNBREAKABLE”. Check out both the opening and closing videos below:

Studio Maho Film handles the animation production for Blue Miburo. The series will have two consecutive episodes, with new episodes released every Saturday. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles in the following regions: United States and US Territories, Canada, United Kingdom, Oceania, and Latin America. Blue Miburo staff and cast

Kumiko Habara (I’m up for 1,000,000 lives) is the director des Blue Miburo Anime we recently interviewed while Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Wicked) takes care of the Series composition. Miyako Nishida and Yuuko Oba are responsible for this Character designsboth of whom worked under Habara I’m up for 1,000,000 lives. Toshiki Kameyama (Kiznaiver) is the Sound director.

The famous music composer Yuki Hayashi will take care of it Music for the series. Other works by him include: Haikyuu!, My Hero Academia, Death parade, Kiznaiverand last Wistoria: Magic wand and sword alongside Luke Standridge and Asa Taylor. We recently interviewed Hayashi and talked about his musical journey and his work on specific projects. (Staff and cast additions are updated weekly.)

Shuuichirou Umeda voices the main protagonist Nio Chirinu. The rest of the current cast list for Blue Miburo contains:

The Blue Miburo The anime series is based on the manga written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Yasuda. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine As of October 2021, 14 volumes of the ongoing historical adventure manga have currently been published. Kodansha USA has published the first three volumes of the manga in English, with the next one scheduled for release on February 25, 2025.

Part 1 of the manga ended with volume 13 earlier this year, while part 2 began with volume 14. Kodansha USA describes the history of Blue Miburo (also titled The Blue Wolves of Miburo / Ao no Miburo) as:
Nio is an orphan who can’t help but dream of a better world. In this action-packed manga, he meets two men who show him how much a few swords can change history. This captivating samurai series from the acclaimed creator of DAYS stars Rurouni Kenshin and tells the story of the founding of the Shinsengumi by handsome and volatile men fighting for justice… and for themselves!
