Warming trend exists, but for how long?

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The sun will continue to shine next week, but we will see some big temperature swings this week. A warming trend has been observed in recent days and will continue until mid-week. Daily highs will be near the mid and upper 70s through Wednesday. The cold nights are also over. Lows will be around 50 to 40°C at the start of the week. The big change comes with the arrival of a cold front. Luckily there won’t be any rain. Our change will be the increase of some clouds in a series of otherwise cloudless days and a decrease to more seasonal and seasonally cooler days with highs in the mid to upper 60s. It looks like we’ll be able to endure the rain a little longer. Check back for updates.

Tonight: Clear and cold. Lows in the 30s and 40s.

Sunday: Warm and sunny. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. Lows will be in the low to mid 40s.

Monday – Wednesday: warmer and sunny. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Lows will be in the mid 40s to 50s.

Thursday – Saturday: Cooler. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.
