GloRilla Praises Atlanta MUA for Sharing Viral Makeup Video

Live Bitez recently shared a video of GloRilla’s performance during a live stream. In the clip, Glo calls out trolls for commenting on her facial features after Angelica White reposted a throwback video of her giving the “TGIF” rapper a natural glam look.

“Tell them to stop playing with me and playing that fucking ugly makeup video. I pretend I don’t show my naked face every day. What’s up? You see me!” Glo says in the video.

Glo further explained why she didn’t feel Angelica reposting the viral makeup video. The “FNF” femcee added that Angelica should have known better since the makeup wasn’t cute.

“This sucks to upload when I look angry in the video. “Girl, take that shit down.” Glo said.

Even though she wasn’t happy with the makeup, GloRilla still recommended Angelica and told her to keep doing her thing – but she wished she hadn’t posted the video.

“Keep doing your job, but you know you shouldn’t upload that old ugly ass video. You know those eyebrows took the one-two step, bastard,” Glo said before correcting herself. “I don’t plan on calling you by your name…because she’s actually a cool person, but just don’t be like that.”

Atlanta MUA responds to Glo’s comments about her work

Angelica White quickly got the taste after hearing GloRilla’s livestream comments about the makeup look. The MUA hopped around on Instagram and shared how Glo’s words hurt her feelings. She also mentioned that she told Glo that she was an aspiring artist when she was doing her makeup in 2023.

“I’m shocked to even hear her say, ‘Why am I proud?’ Be honest, you were my first celebrity client that anyone would have been proud of. I’m sure you were proud when you got signed. “You had time to perfect your craft, just like me,” Angelica replies to Glo.

Angelica then wondered why Glo would book her twice more if she didn’t like the first makeup look. The MUA also dropped receipts and shared other photos of her giving the Memphis rapper various makeup beats.

“I just feel like if you really didn’t like the makeup you could have just used another makeup artist.” Angelica said.

Social media reactions

The Roomies wasted no time in responding to GloRilla’s comments on The Shade Room’s Instagram report. Many fans sided with Angelica, saying Glo’s face was beaten and they couldn’t understand why she didn’t like the look.

Instagram user @vivthebody wrote: Her makeup was pretty and made her look ladylike! If she hates her own face, it’s not the artist’s fault.”

Instagram user @_mekeiap wrote: iam.jenniferleigh wrote: “Awww, it sounds like the makeup artist is really hurt.”

While Instagram users @thecivy wrote, I’m confused… Why would you book someone multiple times if you don’t like their work!!”

Then Instagram user @moesha__minroe wrote: Glo, that was so mean, you just couldn’t have gone to her anymore!”

Another Instagram user @riaaaaxoo wrote: I don’t understand why she’s angry. This is what she looks like? The makeup was beautiful. I’m happy that the make-up artist had a great response.”

Finally, Instagram user @chevvy_caprice wrote: Glo could have written to her instead of making a public video and just said, “Hey, could you take the video down, I don’t feel how I look in it, etc.” instead of publicly shaming her. That hurt the girl’s feelings, damn Glo.”
