We are looking at a warming trend

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Temperatures are near average this weekend, but a warming trend is emerging for the coming work week.

Tonight until Sunday evening

We expect cool, calm weather tonight. Low temperatures will be in the mid to lower 50s under mostly clear skies.

The weather doesn’t change much in the second half of the weekend. On Sunday we will stay dry and mostly sunny. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Another quiet night awaits on Sunday evening. Nighttime lows will bottom out in the low 50s with mostly clear skies.

Start of the new working week

Our predominant dry spell continues to appear to be the start of the new working week.

Highs on Monday will be in the low to mid 80s with plenty of sunshine. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 50s.

A scattered shower is possible on Tuesday, but the chance of rain remains very low. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s under a mix of sun and clouds. Lows will be in the low 60s.

Advanced forecast

After a fall feel in the Big Bend and South Georgia, we are seeing above average highs for the middle and end of the work week.

It will be mostly sunny on Wednesday. Highs will reach the mid 80s, with lows reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Looking ahead, the forecast looks to be mostly dry and mild at the end of the working week.

Highs on Thursday and Friday are expected to reach the mid and upper 80s with some sunshine.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
