Which former ‘Criminal Minds’ character would you like to see return for ‘Evolution’?

Over the course of any long-running TV series, characters will come and go, for any number of reasons. ‘Criminal Minds’ was on CBS for 15 seasons in its initial run, and over the course of that time, the procedural said goodbye to Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Alex Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn) and Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt), among others. And then, there was fan favorite Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gublar), who was there until the season finale but who has not returned for its Paramount+ incarnation. So, which past ‘Criminal Minds’ character would you like to see return for ‘Evolution’? What would you like to see from them? Who would you want them to interact with?

After the success of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan TV series on Prime Video should his other novels be made into a series too?

Now that Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan has come to an end on Prime Video, would you like to see any other Clancy series turned into a TV series? While there’s only two books in the John Clark series, there’s still plenty that could be adapted for a series. We have already seen those novels made into movies and video games, but I really think the long-form series style works for Clancy’s stories. Plus there’s a lot that could be played with in Tom Clancy’s Campus series. What are your thoughts on a streamer turning those novels into a series?

What’s a good K-drama for beginners?

There are popular K-dramas like Crash Landing on You and Goblin, but are these good options for audiences just getting into the genre? What would you recommend to first-time viewers who want to see the best the genre offers? The series should ideally capture all the greatest elements that K-drama fans know and love!

Which cancelled show would you bring back for more seasons?

Unfortunately, both The Acolyte and My Lady Jane have been cancelled after their first season, which is disappointing considering both offered unique concepts that we haven’t seen before. Sure, The Acolyte was a part of the Star Wars franchise, but it focused on characters who had no connection to the Skywalker saga and highlighted the Sith and dark side characters in a way that the franchise never really has before. Then My Lady Jane tried capitalizing on the Bridgerton craze, but that did little to help the show on Prime Video, getting cancelled not long after its premiere on June 27. My Lady Jane combined all that we love about historical period dramas with the whimsy and magic of fantasy, and perhaps it was that uniqueness about it that ultimately landed it on the chopping block. Both of the shows left Season 1 with the door

Which TV series cancellation are you still mourning?

The last couple of weeks have brought some unfortunate TV show cancellation news, with the most prominent examples of the hammer coming down being My Lady Jane and The Acolyte. But that left me thinking: which TV cancellations are you still mourning? I’ll always be a little depressed that Pushing Daisies wasn’t given more time to shine, and I’m still going to be sad that Mindhunter and Hannibal were cut off at a certain point, but it really does feel like fewer and fewer shows are getting the opportunity to build an audience these days, and that’s disappointing!

Which season of Lost is the best?

It’s almost hard to believe that it’s been almost 20 years since the first episode of Lost premiered in September 2004, and yet the series continues to be held up as a defining moment — not only in television, but pop culture at large. Over the course of the story, the characters on the doomed Oceanic Flight 815 flash back, forward, and sometimes sideways — but it can often be difficult to think of Lost in terms of seasons when there are so many great moments across all six. That said: if you had to pick an all-time favorite season of Lost, whether because of the number of standout episodes or the story that develops, which would it be? (I’m presently torn between Seasons 1 and 3, myself, but I’d be curious to see if that changes on a rewatch.)

Who Should Play the Next Lara Croft?

The release of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft has put the franchise back into my brain. We already know that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is developing a live-action series for Amazon, although as far as we know, she’s not playing our favorite video game archaeologist. For as flawed as the Angelina Jolie movies were, I’ve always enjoyed her as the character. Especially as a fan of the franchise. I’m also a defender of the Alicia Vikander film.

However, I’m going to go with Florence Pugh. She has the charisma and she’s proven that she can do action. Plus she’s British! I have no idea what iteration of the video games that Waller-Bridge is going to go with. While I’d love to see a continuation of Vikander in the role, that seems unlikely. So Florence Pugh has my vote.

Is ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Canon to the MCU?

One of the longest and most heated debates in the Marvel Cinematic Universe pertains to the distinction of the MCU’s original TV show, ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Most claim that, similar to Marvel’s ill-fated Inhumans show, the ABC series takes place in a separate universe or timeline than the main MCU. But there are more than a few clues that indicate the opposite, most obviously that the first season of the series directly integrates and leads up to ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. But other issues remain, like direct references to ‘Avengers’ Battle of New York and crossovers with characters like Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. Deepening the issue further is the integration of Netflix’s Daredevil into the 616 MCU timeline. My stance is that ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ definitely began in the main MCU but, through one of the team’s weird journeys, got lost in another multiverse. That means there’s hope for the future! At least in my eyes. Where

What is Hetty’s power on ‘Ghosts’?

So far there are only a few ghost powers and deaths left unexplained on Ghosts. We still don’t know how Sasappis died or what Hetty’s ghost power is — as well as secondary ghosts like Stephanie or Nancy and the rest of the specters in the cholera pit. While Hetty’s counterpart on the original BBC series, Fanny, could show up on camera, we already know that won’t be the case for Hetty as she, along with many of her friends, was invisible to Sam when they called on FaceTime in “Holes Are Bad.” We also haven’t ever seen Hetty get walked through. And while the two plot points could be unrelated, we learned at SDCC that at some point in Season 4, Jay will see the ghosts. Is it possible that he gains similar abilities to Sam after walking through Hetty? What do you want Hetty’s ghost power to be?

Which TV show or movie would you like to see remade with an all-Muppets cast?

If you’re anything like me, you know there is just not enough Muppets in the world, and that the Muppets make pretty much anything better. As a result, I’d love to see The Muppets be more of a presence in entertainment. ‘Muppets Haunted Mansion’ is a delightful example of the genius that comes from blending two beloved properties, The Muppets and the Haunted Mansion theme park ride, into one magical moment. Yes, they’ve had their own movie and TV show adventures as themselves over the years, but there’s something fun (in a different way) about watching them step into already existing roles. Obviously, it’s not possible to remake every movie and/or TV show with Muppets filling the roles previously occupied by actual human actors, but as a Muppets fan, it’s certainly fun to think about. For me, while there was a “Twin Beaks” edition of Monsterpiece Theater in 1991 that starred Agent Cookie as he investigated the mysterious town, because it’s my all-time favorite TV show, I absolutely th

Which ‘Doctor Who’ character do you think is Ruby Sunday’s mom?

Well, we all Carla Sunday is the mom who stepped up! But the question of Ruby’s origins remains a mystery ahead of this weekend’s season finale episode, “Empire of Death.” Given her birth in 2004, just days before the tenth Doctor wished Rose Tyler a happy New Year — as well as her blonde hair and bubbly personality — many fans suspect that she could be Rose’s daughter, and her mother is untraceable because Rose is back in her parallel universe. Another theory suggests her mother could be the Doctor’s wife River Song. River and the twelfth Doctor spent over 24 years together on Darilluim, could Ruby be their child? As a child of the TARDIS River was also over 200 years old before she died, giving her a lot of life lived off-screen. Then there are also a few options that could make Ruby the Doctor’s granddaughter or even their great-granddaughter. The Doctor’s first grandchild, Susan Foreman, has been mentioned a few times throughout the season. Is it possible she’s Ruby’s mother? The D

What was your favorite cancelled TV show?

One of the worst parts of being a TV fan is the fact that your favorite TV show will inevitably get cancelled. To this day, I still mourn the loss of the vampire romance Moonlight. What cancelled TV show was your favorite? I know a lot of people loved Selfie, Firefly, and even Pushing Daisies!

‘Deadpool’ Needs Its Own Disney+ Series, Pronto

Without a doubt, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ provided a much-needed jolt to an MCU that was basically suffocating under the weight of mediocre films and shows, as well as severe fan-fatigue. That blockbuster was the shot in the arm Marvel (and, to an extent, Disney) desperately needed, and to keep this train going, a weird thought came into my head: Why don’t Disney+ create a series just for our favorite R-rated superhero? I mean, what is there to lose right now? Phase 5 was looking disastrous until ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ came along to salvage it, and the Disney+ MCU series (with the exception of ‘WondaVision’ and ‘Loki’) have been mediocre, at best. In fact, it is within this area where the MCU needs the most help, and with Deadpool being one of Marvel’s more profitable superheroes, it makes perfect sense to finally develop a series that will almost certainly bring in a wave of viewers. As much as Disney would probably loathe at the idea of a TV-14 MCU series, the timing for one could not

Which book series would you like to see receive a TV adaptation next?

You can’t open a streaming app these days without finding a TV series that’s been adapted from one or more books. Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, Shadow & Bone, You, even the upcoming A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder on Netflix — they all had their origins on the page, rather than getting their start on the screen. More and more books are being optioned for TV all the time, including Fourth Wing, which is set to become a show for Prime Video, as well as The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, being adapted by the team behind The Righteous Gemstones. But there are still so many more books that have yet to receive an adaptation of their own, so which ones would you like to see make it to the small screen?

Which cancelled TV series deserves another season?

We’ve all been there. The TV show we were deeply invested in is teeing up for another season of amazing adventures and…they don’t get renewed. Devastation all around. For me, that show is NBC’s Timeless. Which gone-too-soon show would you like to see get another season, and what what would you like to see in it?

How do you feel about all of the MAJOR changes that happened the most recent season of Chicago Fire?

The entire One Chicago franchise faced a lot of major changes last season and now we’re all left to worry about what this means for all of our favorite shows when the hiatus is over. One series in particular faced a pretty big shake up in Season 12: Chicago Fire. With Eamonn Walker leaving the series, and new reports suggesting that the series will be bringing in a new captain from out side of the existing cast, it sounds like we’re going to be seeing even more chaos in Season 13. How do you feel about everything that’s been changing? It’s obviously to be expected when series run for so long, but it felt like a lot.

Do You Think Daryl and Isabelle Make a Good Couple on ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’?

Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has given us a lot to think about (even though Daryl and Carol still haven’t reunited yet). Perhaps the most shocking moment so far is Daryl and Isabelle’s kiss, followed by Isabelle saying, “I love you” to Daryl in Episode 3. Do you think these two make a good couple? Should Carol and Daryl be together, or should Daryl stay single?

Season 21 Of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Has Me Hooked (So Far)

I’ve been saying for years that Grey’s Anatomy may have passed its prime, and I didn’t have a lot of high hopes for Season 21. My thinking quickly changed after the season opener, “If Walls Could Talk,” in which Meredith, in trying to save Catherine’s life, agreed to keep her condition a secret from Richard in exchange for getting their jobs back. From there, Season 21 only got better (so far), as Richard found out about his wife’s deteriorating condition, and the nursing students are all finding their own voices within the hospital (I’ll admit, these nurses have grown on me). Season 20 was a bit all over the place, but it seems as if Season 21 has righted the ship, for now. I still think it’s time for Grey’s Anatomy to sail into the sunset, but if the rest of this season is as good as the first three episodes, I wouldn’t mind it staying around for a little while longer.

Are You Excited for Sophia Bush To Join ‘Grey’s Anatomy’?

‘One Tree Hill’ alum Sophia Bush is set to make her ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ debut in November, and this highly anticipated new character is exactly what ‘Grey’s needs. It’s no secret that the show has been struggling in recent seasons as it tries to capture the magic that made the earlier seasons so great, and Bush just might be the perfect person to breathe new life into the series. The star also has experience in the medical genre from her short-lived CBS series, ‘Good Sam,’ on which she also served as a producer. Are you excited to see Sophia Bush don her scrubs once again?

Are Game Shows the New Sitcoms?

Back in the 1980s and 1990s, during the golden age of sitcoms, many American networks dedicated their primetime TV slots to comedies. However, over the years, sitcoms have experienced a steady decline. Filling in that void is the game show and the key factor is the popularity of the host. Today, game shows are the new sitcoms. With comedy legends like Steve Harvey and Drew Carey at the helm, game shows are reclaiming the primetime positions. The clever blend of humor and competition keeps viewers laughing. Nothing beats the fun of engaging in an interactive activity. Which makes shows like Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune a winning ticket.
