The Wolfpack (3-4, 0-3 ACC) is seeking its first win against a power conference team this season, and Cal (3-3, 0-3) is trying to end a three-game losing streak, including also in the second half of the season – consecutive losses of two or fewer points.

NC State plays its first game on the West Coast since 1960 at UCLA. Despite the team’s recent struggles, freshman quarterback CJ Bailey seems to be getting better every week. Bailey had more than 300 passing yards against Syracuse, becoming the first Pack rookie to do so since Philip Rivers in 2000.
