Playoff football brackets released

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The WIAA released the football brackets for the postseason and five Northeast Wisconsin teams received No. 1 seeds.

Here are the top seeds in each of the seven divisions that hail from the region:

In Division 1, Kimberly and Bay Port were each ranked No. 2 in different groups and the only way to meet in the postseason is in the state championship game.

In Division 2, Kaukauna received the No. 1 seed while West De Pere was No. 3. These teams could meet in Level 3.

In Division 3, Notre Dame was seeded second.

In Division 4, Winneconne and Freedom were each ranked No. 1 and could meet in Level 4 (section finals) for a trip to the state championship game.

In Division 5, Wrightstown was seeded number 1 and Kiel was seeded number 2. These teams could meet in Level 3.

In Division 6, Coleman was a top seed.

There were no local top seeds in Division 7.
