FanDuel Sports Network will televise 80 Charlotte Hornets games this season

After several months of uncertainty, the Charlotte Hornets’ TV home in 2024-25 has been determined.

This week it was announced that Diamond Sports Group and FanDuel Sports have agreed to an agreement to rebrand Bally Sports, the regional streaming home of many NBA, NHL and MLB teams, to FanDuel Sports Network.

“Working with FanDuel provides Diamond with a tremendous opportunity to enhance the fan experience and deepen the value we provide to our team, our league and our distribution partners,” Diamond Sports Group CEO David Preschlack said in a statement. “This partnership provides opportunities to further strengthen our RSNs’ close connection with local fans, including enhancing our (direct-to-consumer) offering for a growing digital audience. In the meantime, we have entered into agreements with the NBA, the NHL and our key channel partner, we remain focused on driving our business and creating value for our team partners and our stakeholders.”

FanDuel Sports Network will broadcast 80 of the Hornets’ 82 games this season. One of the other two games will be televised on national television, the game against the Chicago Bulls on January 17th and will be broadcast on ESPN. Six Hornets games will also be shown on NBA TV.

Details of the agreement were not made public.
