All-rounder struck brutally after failing with the bat in the Bengaluru Test

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed for just five runs in the second innings of the first Test between India and New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This was Jadeja’s second consecutive poor score in the game as he had been dismissed for a duck in the first innings.

The left-hander didn’t have a great Test match with the bat. He recorded scores of 0 and 5 in both innings. His low scores cost India as the team required him to play a distinct knock in both innings.

But unfortunately for Jadeja, it was a disappointing game with the bat. As a result, social media criticized the star Indian all-rounder and backed Axar Patel to replace him.

Ravindra Jadeja’s last fifty-plus score

Ravindra Jadeja’s last significant innings came in the first Test match between India and Bangladesh in Chennai, where he scored 86 in the first innings. Since then, he has gone three low-scoring innings.

However, Jadeja had a good time with the ball in New Zealand’s first innings where he was the pick of the Indian bowlers with 3-72 in 20 overs. The left-arm spinner took the wickets of Will Young, Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry.
